Chook Shed

After all the modifications the roost ended up a bit to low.
With the milder night the girls are doing more standing and ET noticed on camera that there was not enough head height for Ruby to fully stand.

The roost which was recessed into the box is now flush with the top edge to which I have added some timber edging to contain the bedding.

We’ll see how that works out for height. If we need a bit more I’ll remove the chipboard base’s (needed to prevent the trays tipping over) on both kitty litter trays and make a frame to secure them.

I will watch them on camera and report back with update…
