Start making the scanner box.

The boards are tongue & groove and we don’t want the groove on the bottom boards so trimmed them off on the 8″ sliding mitre saw and here we are planning the bottom edges and checking they are all the same width.

For now we will just tack the box together with brads.

Next… we need to cut a 3mm MDF top panel that will support the phone.

Now measure & mark for the length.

Before working on the top phone we need to add another row of boards which should het us close to the focal length of the camera lens.
