Finally gave in and bought a rice cooker-

What triggered the purchase was that my older daughter  could not get one at her local Kmart so I did the walking and managed to do a click & collect at out local Brandon Park Kmart – so I bought two of them.

Measured out for 4 cups of Basmati rice.

Happy with the results. Nice and fluffy but grains a touch hard so will leave for extra 5mins on Warm next time.
