The solar pump water outlet flow is like a cyclic spitting?

Had to go up a stepladder which is at the end of a long pole (catch the sun) to remove the solar panel. At the workbench pulled the pump apart and nothing obvious jamming the motor – scratch head.

What we do have on all the parts is a slimy layer of bacteria mixed with very fine junk stuff.

Used a wet one to clean everything in particular the impellar and the impella motor cavity -look at that! Needed three cleanouts!

Out to the gazebo wash basin to test the pump – like a new one! See the next post with video clips.

Off to find a new bit of tubing.

Had a spare offcut ![]()

I’m up the ladder again mounting the solar panel.

Solar panel is top centre on a long garden stake. Also cleaned out the base and did a final check -working well.
