Serengeti Giraffe – A3 picture frame size

With the purchase of a Canon A3 printer I can now offer larger silhouette lights and hoping they attract some attention on Marketplace.

Too kick off I’m starting with this Serengeti Giraffe because African animals are quite a  popular home decor item.

As posted the retail stores have lots of empty shelves because bloody China and Jumping Jing Ping have cracked-the-shits that Australia via Morrison want a investigation into the source of the Coronavirus – bloody obvious I say.

Anyway…while at Waverley Gardens checked BIG W for photo frames and again bugger all on the shelves but no matter as prices far to high.

Got this nice A3 frame from a Two Dollar shop near Big W for $12 bucks.

The usual procedure dismantle and make the internal frame that will site inside the actual picture frame.

This provides a space for the silhouette object that sits on stand-offs.

Came up with this idea to use ALDI Garden Planting Stakes to make (some of) the internal frames.

I’m using the main frame as a jig to glue the internal frame. I’ve found that picture frames are often not square or the sides are bowed so I have a collection of business and money cards to use as shims; like here where the main picture frame is a bit skewed.

Tomorrow morning I’ll have a play to decide on which set of lights to use – Fairy or String.
