This is my 8″ band saw that I made in 2017.

Driven by a Simpson washing machine motor.

Went to use it yesterday and discovered a problem! No further explanation needed picture tells the story.

The upper and lower wheel tyres are cut from a truck tyre inner tube, this upper tyre was split almost all the way through.
