Pitfield property makeover 1

Big project for the next few weeks to help the older daughter prepare her property for sale. We have a job list so loaded the car last night and hopefully thought of everything I might need.

First priority is to remove the doggie door that I made for Shyla, the kids German Shepherd as there is a glazier on the way to replace the glass.

Next on the list is to repair the side gate in a similar manner to the adjacent main gates that we repaired in June 2010 using low cost fence pailings.

Remove the gate, the screws holding the old rotten timber boards have all rusted so just bash them off and then cut off the screws with a grinder.

20151201_150550With a ‘clean’ frame pre-cut the palings to the right length and like the main gates use couple of off-cuts to space each one (board thickness) before screwing them down with self drilling hex screws.
