Popped into Kmart on the way back home from the horse paddocks to buy a couple of those 12″ inner tubes that will become tyres for the bandsaw wheels.

First task is to cut around the inside of the tube.

Looks like something left behind by a large reptile. I will need to wash off the talcum like power for better grip on the wheel.

Lot of effort required to stretch the 12″ tube onto the 14″ wheel. I was about to give up and go have my afternoon nap when I thought of using croc clamps so I only had to struggle with one half of the wheel first then do the other side

The funny bit at the top is where I cut out the valve, hope that doesn’t come back to bite.
